Three long months since I've blogged. Been a bad girl. It will be hard to play catch-up but I'm gonna try.
Nov. 27-30 - MOH and I went to Palm Springs for the travel show. It was fun to see Palm Dessert, Rancho Mirage, all of these incredibly beautiful, upscale places.
December - pretty slow month. on 12/25 went to St. John the Divine for an early music concert.
I'm sure I'm leaving some things out. However, I'll jump right to New Year's Eve. We planned to spend it at the Player's Club as we've done for 3 or 4 past years. However, when we ot there, we saw it was empty and found that it had been called off. Luckly, steps away was the National Arts Club, and we blended in there and had a lovely dinner and dancing, and altogether a very, very nice New Year's Eve.
January 4-6 - MOH and I visited The Point at Saranac Lake. Wheeeh! Fantastic, and my article called "The Point" and published by WTT in January expalins all.
Tue, 8 - Bryant Park Grilll for Accessories Council - nice.
Thur, 10 - Scandinavia HOuse for cocktail party
Tue, 15 - Ceramics Fair Preview @ Nat'l Academy Museum - very pretty
Thur, 17 - Possibly one of the best days of my entire life; Made the dreaded phone call re: biopsy. All I can say is "Thank you St. Blaise, thank you Lord". I have never felt such elation. And this was the day to pick up buddy Anne and CELEBRATE!!
I don't think my feet touched ground the entire while she was here, and oh as a result, we did, repeat, did have fun!!!
Fri, 18 - Tea @ Innat Irving Place with A. Delightful.
New Museum on the Bowery. Wanted very much to see this bldg. Contents inside - well like Whitney but worse. A had a good take on it, said that there must be a place to display this kind of art. I guess.
Evening - Elisa Monte Dance Troup, then A and I off to O'Neals where they hosted a lovely dinner. Lots of fun!
Sat, 19 -A and I went to Winter Antiques Show at Armory. Then
AW and I met Barry McC and his sig. other at Jean Georges for drinks. Rally nice get-together! A and I then had dinner at GCT eatery.
Thur, 14-17 - FAM to Tampa with MOH for Gasparilla. A very fun trip.
FEBRUARY
Sun, 10 - Iris Love party at Tavern. Sadly I had the flu but MOH had a really good time.
Mon, 11 & Tue, 12 - still flu, MOH at Westminster both days.
Fri, 15 - Lunch at Bar Boulud. (Much ado about nothing)
Tue, 19 - MOH and I went to Explorer's Club. I love going there, b/c it's such a grand old mansion. Thought the lecture would be interesting - Grecian Godesses. It wasn't, the way the woman presented it. Enjoyed the cocktail party pre-lecture.
Wed, 20 - Cipriani 42nd St, More Models (40+) This was lovely. Love going to Cip 42, food was divine, glamorous crowd.
Thur, 21 -Cipriani, Wall St. This was a really nice event. Cocktails up the stairs overlooking the dining room, (this venue is as gorgeous as 42nd st), then a very nice dinner with good dining companions. This was for the Making a Difference for Women Awards Dinner. Tres nice!
